Gwadar.eu is the first platform that aims at promoting Gwadar in Europe. Our objective is to increase awareness about Gwadar within the European Union.
Gwadar and the CPEC
Gwadar is to become Pakistan’s second largest port and a major hub connecting South Asia to Middle East.
Located in Pakistan’s Balochistan’s province, Gwadar is to be home to many infrastructure projects related to the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). A deep sea port, a major airport, refineries are under development. These projects result from the implementation of the CPEC, a major segment of the Belt and Road Initiative, a connectivity programme launched by China in 2013.
With new infrastructure and special economic zones, Gwadar port attracts investors from China, but also from the Gulf region. With gwadar.eu, our ambition is to assist European companies in exploring new opportunities in Gwadar.
Gwadar.eu is offered by Cooperans, the leading France-based consultancy for “Belt and Road Initiative” projects. Cooperans has also launched OBOReurope to promote the Belt and Road Initiative towards European stakeholders.
Gwadar.eu offers to build connections and a network between European and Pakistani companies and institutions to support EU-Pakistan dialogue.
Gwadar.eu helps European companies identify business opportunities in Gwadar and shares forecasts about Gwadar’s future development. We do also assist Gwadar and Pakistan-based stakeholders in promoting their projects and services to a European audience.
Although the development of Gwadar is a major project of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, Gwadar welcomes investors and companies from all around the world. Gwadar.eu is committed to developing relations between European and Pakistan companies.
Gwadar.eu is the first step to Gwadar a trade hub between Europe and Pakistan.
